More Houston Pictures.

Chris' shirt back said something like, "Texas Tech scores more." It was amazing to be at an event where the school spirit was HUGE!

I could say the same thing about my trip to Lubbock two years ago where I attended a Texas Tech and Kansas football game. I was taken with the fact that all - and I mean ALL - of those attending (young and old) could sing all the fight songs and pump their arms to the beat of the music while holding their fingers in the shape of a six shooter. Even Chris was caught up in the school spirit. Their mascot was similar to the cartoon character Yosemite Sam. Sam had huge guns to go along with his costume. The pregame acitivity included the RED RAIDER riding out onto the field to the roar of the crowd. And it was an honest to goodness ROAR! And I can't forget about the marching band. Really a first rate show and performance. Absolutely spectacular. I have never experienced anything like that in California or Utah. This is why I made it a point to have Alicia come with us to the game. She has remarked more than once that it was fun.

Would have been nice to have been able to spend more time with Christian. I played a game of air hockey with him. He took me down 3-1. Even though I stepped up my game he still was blocking shots with ease. Little did I know he has played lots of air hockey before. So I was playing with an air hockey ace. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I could not resist taking this picture which was located near the Museum of Natural History.

That sign--give me a break. It's MY fault that I left MY things in MY locked car.

Christian is cute.

Sounds like it was a good trip.

How old is Christian? I love air hockey too, but I'm sure we're not all pros like he is.

Love the picture! Glad you we were all able to meet up and get to know each other while you were in town. :) We're actually watching the Tech/Oklahoma game tonight. Say a prayer for Chris' team!!
